Expanded giving, expanded impact

We’re excited to announce that we’ve raised close to $4.5M towards our ALL IN generosity journey as we aim to increase capacity, engage the community and fuel outreach. This is 39% of our $11.5M goal that we’re striving to surpass by the end of 2020. THANK YOU for generously giving to this vision!

As we shared last fall, the Elders and Trustees set aside the first $350k raised for global missions, local outreach and investment for a future campus location. We are currently reviewing proposals from our global missions teams to see how we can fuel long-term, sustainable impact in Honduras, Nicaragua, India, Germany and South Africa.

Our first grant from these ALL IN “first fruits” funds has gone to support a member of our student ministry team as a missionary on the ground in Honduras for 15 months to raise up a student ministry to impact the next generation. Her purpose is to raise up a thriving student ministry to impact the next generation in our sister church in Copan, Honduras who we have partnered with for 15 years in summer missions and year round ministries. Her role is to provide the organization and creativity to launch a student ministry while raising up key leaders on the ground to ensure sustainability.

Locally, we have become a significant contributor to Crossed Bridges (https://bridgesconnected.org/) with their vision to bring together non-profits, churches, businesses, health organizations and government agencies to address the highest priority physical needs of the community in Frederick County. Crossed Bridges is the driver behind the Frederick Goes Purple campaign, which is focused on bringing awareness, funding and collaboration to combat the local opioid crisis. Crossed Bridges has exciting plans to bring together all sectors on an on-going basis to save and improve lives.

Please join us in praying for these partnerships. We can only pursue this expanded impact because of your consistent and generous gifts. Thank you for partnering with us in moving forward ALL IN the name of Jesus!
